Tangkhul org warns kidnappers
Dimapur, August 27 (MExN): The Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) today denounced the kidnapping of PWD engineer Wungshim Kasar at Litan in Manipur reportedly by Kuki militants and has said ‘enough time and patience to avoid unwanted incidents and hostilities between the two communities’ have been given. The TNL said the community shall no longer remain silent and demanded that the abductors immediately release the officer. “We have given enough time and patience in order to avoid any unwanted incidents and hostilities between the two communities. The kidnappers and its collaborators shall responsible for any eventualities. We shall no longer remain as mute spectator. We appeal for immediate release of the said officer,” a note from the TNL stated. The note was appended by TNL president Solomon Ningshen.
