NAGAS: Reconciliation and Integration

The Naga people for the time of our forefathers even to this day, pass the roughed road toiling with tears, sweats, affliction and injustice with a vision of hope in God Almighty to emancipate itself from the oppression and colonialism of the uncivilized forces of the British and the Indian. The road map towards our destination is never a pleasant struggle. The adversaries are sleeplessly organizing to destabilize the struggle movement of the Naga people by creating avenues to divide and expand their hegemony. It is the time for the young generation to take to heels to struggle for peace, justice and dignity.

The peace talk that is going on between the two entities has opened a tangible atmosphere for the involved nations to find honorable solution to the long drown political conflict in the region, hoping at the earliest time. In a significant development the top Naga leaders of the three political groups- NSCN/GPRN, GPRN/NSCN and NNC/FGN reconciled and resolved in principle to push ahead with the formation of one “Naga National Government” (NNG) in the sight of living God, Naga people and the world under the initiative of Forum for Naga Reconciliation is “HISTORIC STEP” and “PRAISE-WORTHY”. Naga Reconciliation: A journey of common hope gains a great success though our beloved leader SS Khaplang and his team missed at this beautiful time. We hope the final reconciliation will achieve by much effort and labour from the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) and the Naga people and also hope that his team will join us this CHORUS of journey at the near future. I believe his wise leadership-decision will save the Naga people from derail to our adversaries and the long cherish of the Naga people for “ONE NATION” will not be betrayed.

The Naga integration is the second step towards arriving at an honorable settlement. Therefore, it is the onus of every Naga citizen to participate, contribute and support to strengthen the hand of the negotiating parties. The Nagas today witness the infliction of being divided without our consent and are living under two nation states (Burma and India) and under different administrative set up in India viz; Assam, Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. The call for the Nagas to live united under one political set up is an inherent right of the Naga people.

In spite of the forcible bifurcation of the Naga people and land, the Nagas everywhere feels that every Naga land is theirs. The sense of belongingness is the essence of oneness that is why the “NAGA INTEGRATION IS THE SOUL OF THE NAGA NATION”. Let us join hands together emotionally, physically and in fellowship with the Lord Almighty God.

Dear fellow Naga brethren, we are one culture, one nation and one people under one God. Therefore I pledge before you as a concerned Naga citizen that we should work and prepare to die for our cause - our land and people. Wake up young generations; don’t pretend to see nothing around you for the caused is right before your eyes.
NAGAS RIGHT TO LIVE UNDER ONE POLITICAL ENTITY-- NON-NEGOTIABLE; NO COMPROMISE. KUKNALIM!
