IMPHAL, Aug 27: The Kuki National Liberation Front (KNLF) has claimed that W Kasar is in its custody. While confirming abduct-ion of W Kasar, a KNLF/KPA statement issued tod-ay by its information and Publicity secretary Lunglen Kuki also disowned news report published in this dai-ly (Aug 27) on the basis of a statement issued by one S Lalcha.
Dismissing the cla-rification issued in the name of KNLF/KPA as a case of impersonation by S Lalcha and he (Lalcha) has already been suspended from the KNLF/KPA, Lunglen said Lalcha's negative attitude has already been discussed at the highest level of the KNLF/KPA and a fitting pu-nishment for his actions will be initiated. any other news from any other sour-ces such as S Lalcha in con- nection with the organisa-tion will only act as a setback in the case and is not to be entertained, Lunglen cautioned.
