Mind Blowers Club Dimapur, Nagaland would be hosting the “Best of the Best” Nagaland Art Fusion Contest 2013 in Dimapur. The contest will be of soft rock genre music.
Contestants may avail the entry forms from the office of the club located at circular road, Dimapur. The last date for submission of forms will be September 20, screening test on September 28, elimination round on November 9, and the grand finale on December 20.
The winner will walk away with a cash prize of Rs. 1, 00000 while prizes are also in store for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd runners-up and the best original song category.
Cash prizes and gift hampers would also be given to winners in the individual category. Overall cash prize would be of Rs. 2 lacs.
Judging for the best individual award would be done during the elimination round. Selected bands from the screening test and finalist bands would be based on public voting for the winning titles.
Voting cards would be available at certain music store and cafes which will be notified later. The performance of the selected bands based on public voting would be telecast on local channels, Doordarshan and also highlighted through projectors at the main junctions, time to time, at various districts of Nagaland so as to enable the public to vote for their best favourite bands.
