Tikendrajit Keisham, a first year Computer Science and Engineering student of Manipur Institute of Technology (MIT)[/caption]IMPHAL, Sep 28: Tikendrajit Keisham, a first year Computer Science and Engineering student of Manipur Institute of Technology (MIT), Takyelpat, Imphal has won the coveted Furtados Ultimate Guitarist 2013 (Judges Choice) award. Furtados Ultimate GuitaristVideo Contest is a three-month long battle in search of the best guitarist in India. The 'battle' goes through a series of public voting rounds and selection by the esteemed judges.
Tikendrajit Keisham, who hails from Keishamthong Bazar, is adjudged the Judges Choice from among the top 15 finalists who competed from different parts of the country. He has been playing guitar since his childhood. He is influenced by his two elder brothers who are also musicians and played together in the same band. Tikendrajit performed at various local acts since 2002 and also at the Sangai Festival along with local bands.
