The Quiet River Quartet, a four member Rock band from Imphal has released their Debut Single “Long Bridge’ and is available for streaming on Soundcloud.
For those of you who are new to the band, the Quiet River Quartet is an Imphal based Rock band. Formed by a group of four peculiar individuals with a passionate love for music. It’s what’s led them to pursue their musical interests on a full-time basis.

Dinez the “metronome”
The soul of the band (and the only one in the band with actual rockstar locks). Started out as a guitarist, but found his true calling only later, on the drums. Dons a few hats: graphic designer, singer (even though he absolutely dreads the thought of singing), ace prankster (not that you’ll never guess that if you’re not in the know, given those good-boy vibes he gives out in abundance.)Bhupen
With his intimidating figure, Bhupen aka Shaolin Baba would easily land a role as an anti-hero in a Telegu film. Get to know him a little, however, and you’ll realise he’s the gentlest of giants. Also known as Baldy, the guy is forever stressed that the beanie cap he wears will fall down while he’s headbanging on the stage.
Music runs deep in his veins; he comes from a family of musicians (one of whom is even considered a legend). Was in a band with his brother before this. Oh, and he can do a spot of singing too, if need be.Nitin
The singer and songwriter of TQRQ, Nitin is a true dreamer and romantic at heart. The sort of person who doesn’t believe in taking any half-measures. Also an out and out perfectionist. Chat with him for a bit, and you’ll find out just how passionate he is about making music.
A fan of Arctic Monkeys and The Black Keys, Nitin hopes to open for the two bands someday.Avinash aka Avidona
The bassist of the band, and a complete football fanatic (which is how he got his nickname). One heck of a talent…incredible how he comes up with those groovy bass licks. Seriously into Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and The Black Keys. And one day, he wants to open a Sports Café, where there’s one and only one sport on the menu…
