'Fifty Shades of Grey' slated for 1 August 2014 release[/caption]The film adaption of the best selling erotic novel 'Fifty Shades of Grey', written by E L James, will be released on Friday, 1 August 2014, in North America.
Although Focus Features will be releasing the film nationally, Universal Pictures will deal with it's international release, with dates that still need to be confirmed, CBS news reported.
Universal and Focus acquired the rights to the 'Fifty Shades' trilogy in March 2012.
The 'Nowhere Boy' director, Sam Taylor-Johnson will be at the helm of the movie, which he has produced with Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti.
